Temple Israel will honor Carol Cohen, Marcie Kalina, Michele Steinberg, Nancy Wilkerson-Kreinberg and Donna Wilkerson-Light at the congregation’s 126^th Annual Meeting at 10 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 10 at TI, 1 Rabbi Alvan D. Rubin Drive in Creve Coeur. A complimentary breakfast will be served. 

Cohen and Kalina will each receive the President’s Award for Continuing Excellence for their service to the congregation as committee and board members and for their leadership of the congregation’s 125^th anniversary year of celebration. 

Steinberg, Wilkerson-Kreinberg and Wilkerson-Light will each receive the Pillar of the Temple award, which recognizes congregants “who seek no plaudits or honors for themselves, but give tirelessly for the well-being of the congregation.”  

Steinberg, professional photographer and owner of Shutterbug Stories, regularly donates her time to photograph Temple events and to create commemorative DVD slide shows of congregatio milestones. Wilkerson-Kreinberg and Wilkerson-Light, owners of Artbi2 Creative Visuals, frequently donate their graphic design talents to produce invitations, ads and event programs for the congregation. 

In addition to the awards presentations, the annual meeting will feature the election of new officers and trustees and an address by Board President JoAnne Levy.
