St. Louis teens sought for 2017 JCC Maccabi Games

The St. Louis JCC Maccabi Delegation will travel to Birmingham, Ala., Sunday, July 31 to Friday, Aug. 4, 2017 to participate in the JCC Maccabi Games and to Miami, Florida Sunday, Aug. 6 to Friday, Aug. 11 to participate in the JCC Maccabi Games and ArtsFest. JCC Maccabi connects thousands of Jewish teens through sports, arts and Israel.

Team St. Louis is actively recruiting athletes (ages 13 – 16) and artists (ages 13 – 17) to compete in more than a dozen sporting events and arts specialties. Team and individual tryouts for sports will take place at the Marilyn Fox Building in Chesterfield on Sunday, Dec. 4. 

Athletes must try out for baseball, basketball, dance, flag football, lacrosse, soccer, swimming and volleyball. Tryouts are not required for golf, ice hockey, star reporter, table tennis, tennis, track and field, or ArtsFest specialties, but participants must pre-register and attend an information meeting.
