Karlie Kloss may have built her career on international runways, but her story begins right here in St. Louis. The Webster Groves High School alum, who converted to Judaism before her 2018 marriage to entrepreneur Joshua Kushner, is about to add another little one to her growing Jewish family.
Kloss, 32, announced on Instagram that she and Kushner are expecting their third child.

“Three’s a party,” she captioned a photo of her baby bump. The couple, already parents to 4-year-old Levi and 1-year-old Elijah, has kept most details about their children private, but their family’s Jewish identity has always been something Kloss has spoken about with intention.
The Jewish Light has covered Kloss’ Jewish journey over the years, including her 2019 interview with British Vogue, where she described her conversion as deeply personal and meaningful:
“It wasn’t enough to just love Josh and make this decision for him,” she said at the time. “It requires me to be stronger and self-loving and resilient.”
Kloss has since embraced Jewish life, frequently mentioning how much she values Shabbat as a time to unplug and reconnect.
Beyond her role as a mother, Kloss continues to make an impact. She founded “Kode With Klossy,” a free coding camp for girls and has supported causes such as reproductive healthcare access. In recent months, she visited Israel, sharing images from the Western Wall and voicing support for victims of the Oct. 7 attacks.
Kloss and Kushner, who have been together for over a decade, tied the knot in an intimate Jewish ceremony in 2018. (Kushner’s brother Jared is married to Ivanka Trump, the president’s daughter.) Since her marriage, Kloss has balanced motherhood, philanthropy and a high-profile modeling career while staying connected to her St. Louis roots.
With baby No. 3 on the way, the Kloss-Kushner household is about to get a little louder—and, we imagine, a lot more fun.
