St. Louis Kollel’s “Eishes Chayil” Women’s Division will present its second annual pre-Pesach “Princess with Pride” shopping event from 4 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday, March 18 at Young Israel Congregation, 8101 Delmar Boulevard.
Event Coordinator Orli Axelbaum explains that this is an opportunity for Jewish women and teens throughout the community to come together and shop for all of their Passover needs under one roof. (Everything except the matzah.)
Included in the sale will be cookbooks, Haggadahs, kosher lamps, hot water urns, bug checkers and foil pans from the St. Louis Kollel bookstore, unique jewelry items produced here in St. Louis by Seagreen Expressions along with Sage Chic jewelry creations from South Africa and around the world.
Trendy, modest holiday fashions will be featured from “Area Code 407,” Kiddy so Pretty and Orli’s Store. Designer hats from Linda’s Headquarters in Skokie, Ill. will be available in casual and fancy styles, along with wigs and accessories, headbands, berets, pre-tieds and scarves from Devorah Soroka.
Ms. Dressmaker, a professional seamstress, will be on hand to make sure that everyone’s collars, sleeves and hems are just right.
Mound City Shelled Nut Company will offer Kosher for Passover items for baking and gift-giving, and Royal Wine Company will feature a full line of Kosher wines to sample that will be available to order from the St. Louis Kollel Bookstore.
Smarty Had A Party will raffle off three gorgeous gift baskets stocked full of elegant high quality disposable dinnerware for your Passover Seder, and Flamenco Flowers & Sweets will raffle off an exquisite Passover floral centerpiece that will be available to order the day of the event.
Special treats will include refreshments from Toby’s Challah House and Bakery.
A percentage of proceeds from the event will benefit the St. Louis Kollel. For more information, call 314-726-6047 or email [email protected].
