Hillel plans barbecue

St. Louis Hillel is kicking off their summer programming with a kosher barbecue at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, June 18 at St. Louis Hillel. College students who are in St. Louis for the summer are invited. RSVP to [email protected].

Speaker from Jerusalem

Mrs. Sara Yoheved Rigler, lecturer, teacher and author, will speak at the St. Louis Kollel at 8 p.m. Monday, June 19, on achieving happiness in difficult situations. Her talk will be based on her own life and the life of Rebbitzen Chaya Sara Kramer, subject of her new book, “Holy Woman.” The cost is $5. Doctors’ Lounge revived

Jewish Federation’s Maimonides Society will revive the Doctors’ Lounge during a three-part members’ series 10 to 11:30 a.m. June 25, Aug. 6 and Oct. 29. Watermarks to be shown

The Holocaust Museum and Learning Center monthly will present the St. Louis premiere of Watermarks at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 25, in the Holocaust Museum theater at the Jewish Federation Kopolow Building. This documentary chronicles the champion women’s swim team of the legendary Vienna sports club, Hakoah — spanning the women’s heyday as national celebrities, their escape from the Nazis, to their lives today.
