Leah Rose Wilson, daughter of Karl Wilson of St. Louis and Jan Wilson of Chesterfield and Nicholas Trotta, son of Margaret Ann Arris of Middleton, Pa., and Wayne Lewis Trotta of Mechanicsburg, Pa., have announced their engagement.

She is the granddaughter of the late Sol and the late Adele Goodman, of West Bloomfield, Mich., and the late John and the late Helen Wilson of Detroit. He is the grandson of Lewis and Alice Trotta of Florida and Arthur S. Hollinger and the late Joyce Hawthorne Hollinger of Brainbridge, Pa.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Parkway Central High School, Miami University and Vanderbilt University, where she earned an M.Ed. degree in special education.

She is currently a special education teacher in Chapel Hill, N.C. Her fianc é is a graduate of Elizabethtown High School, Layfayette College and Vanderbilt University, where he earned a Ph.D. degree in biological sciences. He is currently a post-doctoral fellow at Duke University. A May 2006 wedding is planned.

Schraier-Olt

Wendy Beth Schraier, daughter of Joel and Francine Schraier of St. Louis, and Jason Stone Olt, son of Tom and Vicki Olt of Austin, Texas, have announced their engagement.

She is the granddaughter of Sam and the late Rose Schraier and Manya and the late Leon Horowitz, all of St. Louis.

He is the grandson of the late Ed and Evelyn Olt of Indianapolis and Stan and Donna Stone of St. Louis.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Ladue High School and the University of Texas, where she earned a B.S. degree in mathematics and an M.A. degree in mathematics education. She is currently a math teacher at Plano East Senior High School. Her fianc é is a graduate of J.J. Pearce High School in Richardson, Texas, and the University of Texas, where he earned a B.B.A. degree in finance. He is currently a financial analyst at Behriger Haverd Real Estate Investment.

A May 2007 wedding is planned.

Lipshitz-Cooper

Lisa Dianne Lipshitz, daughter of Sherry and Isaac Lipshitz of Chesterfield, Mo., and Ryan Michael Cooper, son of Gail and Gary Cooper of Odessa, Mo., were married July 29, 2006 in St. Louis County where Rabbi Howard Kaplansky officiated. She is the granddaughter of William and the late Marene Carl and the late Binem and the late Hanna Lipshitz of St. Louis, Mo.

He is the grandson of the late Richard and the late Norma Meier of Bates City, Mo., and Ralph and the late Marion Cooper of Chillocothe, Mo.

The bride chose Robin Michelle Lipshitz, her sister as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Amy Falke, Debbie Wahl, Stephanie Esses and Bridget Kelly, friends of the bride. Junior bridesmaids were Anna Carl and Sara Carl, cousins of the bride. Cara Cooper, cousin of the groom served as candlelighter.

The groom chose Tim Butchart as best man. Groomsmen were Tom Falke, Nick Gove, Joe Weidinger and Dr. James Hipple. Ushers were Steven Carl, cousin of the bride, Jay Cooper and Dan Cooper, cousins of the groom.

The couple resides in Reno, Nev.
