Ninth annual Shabbat St. Louis service planned for April 15

“B’Yachad: Together!” the ninth annual Shabbat St. Louis community worship service during Passover will be held on Saturday, April 15. 

Torah study led by rabbis and cantors from participating congregations will begin at 9 a.m. The lay-led service will begin at 10 a.m. The event will take place in the Jewish Community Center’s Arts & Education Building, 2 Millstone Campus Drive. The community is invited to attend this annual creative service that promotes collaboration and unity.

Shir Hadash Reconstructionist Community is hosting this year’s event in partnership with the J. Attendees are asked to bring a donation of non-perishable food or toiletry items for the Harvey Kornblum Jewish Food Pantry.

The service will be led by adults and youth representing Shaare Emeth, Shir Hadash, Temple Emanuel, Temple Israel-Alton, Temple Israel-St. Louis, United Hebrew and the Saul Mirowitz Jewish Community School. HaShemesh will provide musical accompaniment. The service will be sign interpreted.
