National Council of Jewish Women-St. Louis Section will hold its annual Men’s Event at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 21 at Lester’s Restaurant and Sports Bar, 9906 Clayton Road. The event benefits NCJW’s Back-to-School! Store. 

Guests will watch the Cardinals take on the Philadelphia Phillies while mingling with friends, checking out a silent auction and helping underserved kids in the community get ready for school.

This year’s co-chairs of the Men’s Event are Jon Baris and Larry Zigler, who are both longtime Back to School! Store volunteers.

The Back-to-School! Store is an annual one-day event offering free back-to-school necessities, including a new school outfit (with shirt, pants, shoes, socks, underwear, winter coat, gloves and hat) and a backpack filled with school supplies, books and a variety of personal care items. Last year’s Back-to-School! Store event served more than 1,300 kids.

The cost to attend the Men’s Event is $50, which includes drinks and appetizers.
