The Saul Mirowitz Jewish Community School will hold an open house event for prospective families on Sunday, Nov. 3 at the school, located at 348 S. Mason Road in Creve Coeur. The event starts at 3 p.m., and will culminate in a concert by Jewish rock artist and Mirowitz parent Rick Recht at 4:30 p.m.

Families will get a taste of Mirowitz as they participate in hands-on mini-lessons in the classrooms. While parents explore the curriculum and meet with faculty, administrators, parents and alumni, their pre-school aged children will be paired with middle school students, who will be their buddies for an hour of enrichment activities. Snacks and refreshments will be available, prepared by the school’s Bistro Kids Chef A.J. Moll who makes lunches from scratch using primarily locally grown, whole foods — some from the school’s own garden.
