Congregation Kol Am will welcome Alejandro Baer, a professor of sociology and expert in Holocaust Studies at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid in Spain for an exclusive screening and discussion of the documentary Visas for Freedom: Spanish Diplomats and the Holocaust, on Saturday, Aug. 23 at 5 p.m. The film highlights the efforts of Spanish diplomats to save Jews during the Holocaust.
