JNFs Lawyers for Israel event to feature Elie Rekhess

Jewish National Fund (JNF-USA) will host a Lawyers for Israel event on Thursday, Nov. 7 at Husch Blackwell, 190 Carondelet Plaza, Suite 600. This complimentary event will begin promptly at 11:30 a.m., with registration opening at 11, and will feature historian and professor Elie Rekhess. Space is limited and RSVP is required to attend.
Rekhess is a leading historian on the contemporary Middle East and the Crown Visiting Professor in Israel Studies at Northwestern University. He formerly taught in the Department of Middle Eastern History at Tel Aviv University, where he headed the Konrad Adenauer Program for Jewish-Arab Cooperation. Rekhess has written and edited over a dozen books on Middle Eastern affairs and is a popular public lecturer and television commentator. He has served as Senior Consultant on Arab Minority Affairs to the Prime Minister’s Office in Israel under Yitzhak Rabin and as Senior Consultant on Arab Affairs to the Histadrut Labor Organization.
Attendees will have an opportunity to contribute to Jewish National Fund’s 2020 campaign.
