Kol Rinah is offering a Jewish spiritual parenting discussion class, led by Rabbi Jessica Shafrin, with two classes each month from January to May. The class will use the book “Nurture the Wow” by Rabbi Danya Ruttenberg. Participating parents will enjoy adult conversation about how to find spirituality in both the wonderful and the mundane moments of parenting. The book is not a how-to-parent, but a take on how Judaism can help us find meaning and spirituality in the process. 

The classes are held on Shabbat mornings at 9:45 a.m., with coffee and schmooze, discussions following at 10. Childcare will be provided. Class dates are Jan. 14 and 28, Feb. 11 and 25, March 18 and 25, April 8 and 22, and May 13 and 27.

Each session will stand alone, so parents can join for the full series, or classes when they have time.
