Jewish Federation’s new Center for Legacy Giving starts Legacy Society

Jewish Federation of St. Louis’ Kaplan Feldman Complex

Jewish Federation of St. Louis is launching a new Legacy Society through its new Center for Legacy Giving.

The Center offers assistance for those who wish to include Federation in their estate plans (wills and bequests), establishing endowments (forever gifts), life income gifts, and donor advised funds.

“Many members of our community have already made a commitment to the future of our Jewish community by making a Legacy gift to the Federation, which includes naming Federation in their estate plans. This life-sustaining action helps ensure the security and vitality of the St. Louis Jewish community for future generations,” said Toby Warticovschi, vice-chair of Legacy Giving.

“Often we are not aware that Federation has been named as a beneficiary. As we launch our new Society, we would like to be sure everyone who has done so is property recognized,” noted Lori Wishne, Federation’s director of Legacy Giving.

An introductory Legacy Society event will be held on Thursday, Oct. 21.
