Jerri Livingston receives Hadassah Leadership Award

St. Louisan Jerri Livingston has been named a recipient of the 25th Annual Hadassah Leadership Award. This award pays tribute to members whose leadership accomplishments within Hadassah and civic, educational and cultural organizations reflect Hadassah’s dedication to the principles of the volunteer ethic. Award recipients are selected by their peers and represent a wide range of achievements. Livingston will receive her award at Hadassah’s annual meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 16 in the Chapel at United Hebrew. National Board Leader Judi Schram will speak on “Volunteerism – Passion Plus Payback.” As part of the honor, Livingston has selected the topic of the Sept. 19 Hadassah Health Program, which will be “Early Kickoff – Genetic Connections to Breast Cancer.”

“Jerri Livingston’s past achievements have led to this well-deserved honor, and we look forward to sharing in your future accomplishments, ” said Judy Kramer, President of the St. Louis Chapter.

Through Hadassah and Susan G. Komen, Livingston, a vocal breast cancer survivor, has been actively involved in spreading the importance of breast health to people throughout our community and has created a support group for friends who have been diagnosed with breast cancer.
