The Jewish Community Center is now recruiting families interested in traveling to Israel next summer as part of a fun family adventure geared towards families with elementary and middle-school aged children.
Scheduled for June 2-14, 2024, the itinerary will include highlights such as Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Yad Vashem and Massada. Some of the activities planned include rappelling in the Ramon Crater, stand up paddle boarding on the shores of Tel Aviv, a scavenger hunt in Jerusalem’s Old City, camel riding, adult wine tasting at the Nana Boutique winery, floating in the Dead Sea and much more. This trip will be the J’s fourth family adventure led by Chief Jewish Engagement Officer, Rabbi Brad Horwitz.
“This is always a once in a lifetime experience which families cherish forever,” says Horwitz. “Families return from this trip with a deeper connection to their Jewish heritage, the Jewish people, and with enriching memories that are priceless.”
The 2024 adventure will be co-led by Rabbi Jeffrey Abraham, senior rabbi at Congregation B’nai Amoona. Anyone interested in pricing, itinerary or other details should contact Horwitz at 314-442-3271 or [email protected].
