Hadag Nachash to bring Israeli hip-hop to Pageant

St. Louis Hillel has announced that Hadag Nachash, an Israeli hip-hop group, will perform at the Pageant, 6161 Delmar Boulevard, at 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 6. Several Washington University student groups secured funding for the concert through the university’s Student Union Treasury. Sponsoring organizations include Wash U. Students for Israel, Jewish Student Union, JStreetU, Student Union, St. Louis Hillel and Chabad Student Association.

Hadag Nachash, the best-selling hip-hop artist in Israel, combines fresh hip-hop, rock, reggae and funk sounds and serves as a melting pot of Middle Eastern flavor, promoting equality and civil rights.

Admission for the concert is free for anyone with a valid student ID from any area college or university. Community members (non-students) can purchase tickets for $18. Tickets for community members are limited and only available for attendees over 18 years of age.
