Fourteen St. Louis students selected for internship program

Jewish Federation of St. Louis has launched its second year of a summer internship program that combines meaningful employment and a community connection experience for students who either live or study in St. Louis.  Fourteen interns were selected for The Internship Experience for Future Community Leaders; a nine-week paid summer opportunity that provides employment at a local business or non-profit organization, a community mentor and opportunities for students to engage with the local Jewish community. The interns and the organization or business with which they are interning are: 

• Heather Alton, a senior at Loyola University, is interning with National Council of Jewish Women in St. Louis. 

• Torri Lawrence, a junior at University of Missouri, is interning at Sweetology.  

• Eli Scher-Zagier, a junior at Washington University, is interning at Fox Rodney Search.

• Sarah Burack, a junior at Washington University, is interning with The Foundation for Barnes-Jewish Hospital.

• Ellie Pinto, a junior at Hamilton College, is interning at Warehouse of Fixtures.

• Jessica Sikora, a senior at University of Missouri, is interning at B’nai Amoona Congregation’s Camp Ramot Amoona. 

• Andrew Holtzman, a senior at Washington University, is interning at TechArtista.

• Brian Gersten, a junior at Washington University, is interning at  DEMA Engineering. 

• Sarah Goodman, a senior at Bradley University, is interning at Cooperative Home Care.

• Jamie Goodman, a junior at University of Missouri, is interning at Cooperative Home Care. 

• Isaiah Elder, a junior at Washington University, is interning at Zoltek Companies, Inc.

• Jacob Maier, a junior at Tulane University, is interning at Missouri Jobs with Justice.

• Jacob Honigman, a junior at Washington University, is interning at  Cultural Leadership. 

• Elexa Salina, a junior at Washington University, is interning with Horizon’s Global Marketing department.
