Federation plans trip to Israel around General Assembly

Jewish Federation of St. Louis is planning a General Assembly Board and Leadership Mission to Israel November 7 through 15. In addition to attending the Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA) General Assembly in Jerusalem November 10 – 12, participants will visit Tel Aviv and explore its evolution as the first modern Hebrew city and see the work Federation funds in St. Louis’ partnership region of Yokneam-Megiddo.

“This trip is a unique opportunity for team-building, knowledge-building, inspiration and intensive strategic focus on questions related to Federation and St. Louis’ connection to Israel,” says Lee Wielansky, chair of the Leadership Mission. “This is not a ‘touristy’ trip—we’re going to see a cross-section of Israel by visiting three vastly different areas and be able to witness the impact we have in Israel.”

Space on the trip is limited. A deposit is due by May 30 to guarantee a spot. Scholarships are available.
