Jewish Federation of St. Louis and the St. Louis Jewish Light invite the community to a dynamic presentation on Jan. 12 with Gil Tamary, Washington Bureau Chief for Israel TV Channel 10 .
Tamary will speak about his experience in Washington, D.C. as well as the current situation in Israel and his reflections on being a news reporter for Israeli TV. After the presentation, Larry Levin, Publisher/CEO of the Jewish Light, will interview Tamary and moderate questions from the audience. This event will take place at 7 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 12 at the Jewish Community Center’s Staenberg Family Complex in the Arts and Education Building, 2 Millstone Campus Drive.

He has worked for Israel Broadcasting Authority, Israel Public Radio and as anchor and chief editor of “Good Morning Israel.”
Tamary has a bachelor’s degree and an MBA from Tel Aviv University. Also known for his reporting on the Israeli economy, Gil used to serve as International Editor of Forbes – Israel magazine, and Economic editor for Israel TV and the IDF radio and is a writer for the Globes, Israel’s #1 business newspaper.
