Epstein Hebrew Academy banquet to honor Chelle and Bobby Medow

On Tuesday, March 14, the H.F. Epstein Hebrew Academy (EHA) will hold its 74th annual banquet.
The event will honor Chelle and Bobby Medow and celebrate EHA’s achievements during the academic year. The Medows are longtime supporters of EHA and grandparents of EHA students. This year marks the graduation of their youngest St. Louis grandchild, Ilana Oberlander, daughter of Michael and Sima Oberlander.
“I cannot say enough about how much Bobby and Chelle mean to our school, and to our broader community,” said Rabbi Yaakov Green, EHA Head of School, in a news release. The couple is “deeply committed to Jewish education, to their families and to the long-term growth and success of the St. Louis Jewish community,” he said.
This academic year, EHA saw a major enhancement to the school’s English writing curriculum, and preparations for the second graduating class trip to Israel, which will take place in May.
Proceeds from the banquet will benefit the school’s Ner Tamid Annual Campaign, which provides financial aid to qualifying families.
The banquet takes place at the Clayton Plaza Hotel, 7750 Carondelet Ave., with cocktails at 6:30 p.m. and dinner and program to follow at 7:15. The event is chaired by Darla Grossberg.
