Epstein book fair raises funds to help schools affected by hurricane

Epstein Hebrew Academy, at 1138 N. Warson Road, will host a Scholastic Book Fair at the school Nov. 20-29, with funds raised going to purchase books for the school.  Families, faculty, and the community are invited to attend this fun reading event that helps inspire children to become lifelong readers.

The book fair will feature a special PJ Party & Ice Cream Social with crafts, special guest story readers, refreshments and more on Wednesday, Nov. 28 from 6-8 p.m. It will also feature the All for Books® program, where kids, families, grandparents and community members can donate funds to purchase books from the book hair to be sent to day schools in New York and New Jersey that were affected by Superstorm Sandy.

The Book Fair will be open during regular school hours 8:30 a.m to 4:30 p.m, with the exception of Wednesday, Nov. 21 when the fair will close at noon.  The book fair will also be open Saturday night, Nov. 24th from 7:30-8:30 p.m. during the alumni basketball game.
