‘Emuna’ translator Rabbi Lazer Brody to visit Dec. 8-10

The St. Louis Jewish community is invited to meet Rabbi Lazer Brody when he visits St. Louis Thursday, Dec. 8 through Saturday, Dec. 10.

Rabbi Brody is an internationally acclaimed speaker and translator of several bestselling books, including the widely popular “Garden of Emuna,” which has sold over two million copies worldwide. Born in America, Brody is a former IDF Special Forces Commando Fighter, teacher, lecturer, musician and “English mouthpiece” for Rabbi Shalom Arush. Brody has helped men and women from all backgrounds to reach greater heights of spirituality, closeness and connection to their Creator.

The Emuna kickoff event will be a lecture on “Spiritual Prosperity: How To Thrive In A Declining Economy” presented on Thursday evening at 7 p.m. at Nusach Hari Bnai Zion Congregation, 650 North Price Road (off Old Bonhomme) in Olivette. A booksigning and “meet and greet” will follow the lecture. Admission is free.

Following a full Shabbaton at BHH Shaarei Chesed (“U. City Shul”), there will be a community-wide Melave Malka and Musical Celebration with Rabbi Brody at 8 p.m. at U. City Shul, 700 North & South Road in University City. Admission is $10 per person and RSVPs are strongly encouraged.
