Chabad’s Shofar Corp — a group of trained shofar-blowing volunteers — will visit individuals who for reasons of their limited mobility will be unable to attend services and hear the shofar sounded on Rosh Hashanah Oct. 3 and 4. 

Requests for visits on Rosh Hashanah by the Shofar Corp to the disabled, the elderly and other institutionalized shut-ins, should be made directly to Chabad well in advance of the holiday. Similarly, experienced shofar blowers wishing to volunteer are asked to contact Chabad at [email protected] or call 314-725-0400. Requests will be accommodated based on the availability of volunteers.
