Author returns to discuss Superman biography

The St. Louis Jewish Book Festival will welcome back New York Times best-selling author Larry Tye for a discussion in celebration of the 75th anniversary of Superman. Tye is the author of “Superman: The High-Flying History of America’s Most Enduring Hero” (2012, Random House), a biography of the Man of Steel and the writers, artists, publishers and performers behind the icon.
Tye’s presentation and book signing are open to the public at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 3, at the Jewish Community Center’s Arts & Education Building on the Staenberg Family Complex in Creve Coeur, 2 Millstone Campus Drive.
Tye previously wrote “Satchel” (2009), “Shock” (2006), “Rising From the Rails” (2004), “Home Lands” (2001) and “Father of Spin” (1998). He is working on a book about Robert F. Kennedy.
Tickets are $18 and include a copy of the book.
