For Dafna Revah and David Palatnik, entrepreneurship has always been about more than profit. The Jewish couple—best known for founding CBD Kratom and growing it into a national retail brand—has long used their platform to build community and advocate for wellness. Now, they’re pouring that same spirit into a new venture: nonalcoholic beer.
Through their parent company, MNG 2005 Inc., Revah and Palatnik have acquired WellBeing Brewing, a Maryland Heights-based pioneer in alcohol-free craft beer and sparkling waters. The move brings together two wellness-focused brands and signals an expansion into THC- and CBD-infused beverages.
“Our Jewish values guide us to build businesses and communities rooted in deep meaning and purpose,” said Revah. “Inspired by Masoret (tradition), we actively create opportunities that foster fulfillment, security and resilience.”
WellBeing’s core lineup—including Hellraiser Dark Amber and Heavenly Body Golden Wheat—will remain unchanged, but distribution will grow through CBD Kratom’s retail network. New products are expected to blend brewing innovation with plant-based wellness.
“With WellBeing Brewing, we are deepening our commitment to building community through innovation and wellness,” Revah said. “Guided by our Jewish values, we embrace alternative approaches that encourage intentional living and mindful choices.”
Who is WellBeing Brewing?

One of the first U.S. breweries dedicated to nonalcoholic craft beer, WellBeing has built a national reputation for quality, flavor and innovation.
“The nonalcoholic beverage industry has been rapidly evolving, with growing demand for products that support a mindful, balanced lifestyle,” Revah said. “Whether through cannabis, kratom or another functional ingredient, we see a significant opportunity to merge WellBeing’s expertise in brewing with our deep knowledge of plant-based wellness.”
While the brand will retain its identity, the deal paves the way for expansion into CBD- and THC-infused beverages—an area where MNG already has retail experience.
“Maintaining a strong portfolio of nonalcoholic beers is a priority for us, too,” Revah said. “WellBeing has built a loyal following, and we’re committed to preserving and growing that market while also introducing new functional options.”
Revah and Palatnik were recently honored with the RubinBrown Corporate Leadership Award by the Jewish Federation of St. Louis, a nod to their growing influence as Jewish entrepreneurs.
“Our goal is to foster resilience and meaningful connections,” Revah added, “inspiring others to discover new ways to enrich their lives and wellbeing.”
WellBeing doesn’t operate a standalone taproom, but the acquisition could redefine how consumers experience the brand. In addition to being stocked at most local grocery stores and bottle shops, WellBeing’s nonalcoholic craft beers are expected to appear inside CBD Kratom stores across St. Louis—creating a new kind of space for mindful, alcohol-free enjoyment.
