You’ll learn more about how the re-imagined Treemonisha opera not only celebrates the strength, beauty, and wisdom of Black women, but also brings back to light a forgotten figure of history: Freddie Alexander Joplin. OTSL is presenting Treemonisha May 20 – June 24 at the Loretto-Hilton Center, accompanied by the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra.
