Meet (virtually) the first Reform rabbi elected to Knesset
The first Reform rabbi, Gilad Kariv, was elected to the Knesset in March. Kariv, as executive director of the Israel Movement for Progressive Judaism, has worked on issues of freedom of religion and religious and social causes. He helped establish Reform congregations in Israel, including one in the St. Louis Partnership Region of Megiddo, which has been supported by the Jewish Federation of St. Louis.
At 11 a.m., meet the rabbi and learn about Israel’s recent political developments, the significance of his election and his agenda as a Knesset member.
