Shoshy Shrago, of Omaha, Neb., daughter of Dani and Leon Shrago of Omaha, Neb., and Scott Susman, of Omaha, Neb., son of Abby and Jim Susman of St. Louis, have announced their engagement. 

She is the granddaughter of the late Helen and the late Phil Schwartz and the late Sarah and the late Harry Shrago, all of Omaha. He is the grandson of the late Faythe and the late Jack Zuckert of Milwaukee, Wis., and Bernard and the late Lorraine Susman of St. Louis. 

The bride-to-be earned her bachelor’s degree from Brandeis University. She is currently the Activities Director for New Cassel Retirement Home in Omaha. Her fiancé earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He is currently employed with the Union Pacific Railroad in the IT Department in Omaha. 

They met at a friend’s Sukkah party and he would later propose in the backyard where they met. 

A fall, 2013 wedding is planned.
