Frachtman-Friedman Wedding

Lindsey Marie Frachtman and Scott Louis Friedman were married Nov. 12, 2016 at the Hyatt Regency Galleria in Houston, Texas. Rabbi Ranon Teller, formerly of Congregation B’nai Amoona, and Rabbi Jack Segal of Houston officiated.

Lindsey is the daughter of Dr. Richard and Anne Frachtman of Houston, and the granddaughter of Jack and Germaine Lalouf of Houston, and the late Dr. H. Julian and Marijane Frachtman of Houston. Scott is the son of Neil and Carol Friedman of Chesterfield and the grandson of the late Louis and Rosalie Allen of Birmingham, Ala., and the late Joseph and Sophia Friedman of St. Louis.

Bridesmaids were Leah Cohn, Jenny Frachtman (sister-in-law of the bride), Morgan Jankovic, Anne Johnson, Kate Laramie, Ariana Mason and Jen Steele. Groomsmen were Michael Carter, Mark and Steven Frachtman (the bride’s brothers), Andrew Gall, Scott Gershenson, Avi Kupfer and Balazs Martonffy.

The bride’s niece, Julia Frachtman, served as flower girl. Ushers were Ben Kellison, Alex McVeagh, Scott Roberts and Alex Webb. Ketubah witnesses were Fernando Cutz and Marty Nachman.

The couple said their vows under a suspended chuppah, with hanging candles encased in glass bubbles and floating orchids. At the wedding, Scott serenaded her as the band played “Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You” by Frankie Valli.

The couple met at a 2013 Hillel event, “Sangria in the Sukkah” after Scott moved to Houston as an associate attorney. 

After a honeymoon in Cabo San Lucas, the happy couple resides in Houston with their rescue 2-year-old Labrador Retriever, Maggie.
