Dr. Paul and Barbara Melnik of Chesterfield have celebrated their golden wedding anniversary. The couple was married on April 6, 1973 at United Hebrew Congregation.
Paul is an orthodontist who retired from private practice in 2012. Barbara was a teacher for many years and ended her career as a parent educator in the Parkway School District. In retirement, they enjoy golfing, playing canasta and spending time with family and friends.
The couple have three daughters: Michelle (Marc) Stone of Milwaukee, Wis.; Julie (Greg) Schneiderman of Highland Park, Ill.; and Alison (Brett) Berger of Creve Coeur. They also have seven grandchildren: Zoey and Ryan Stone; Alex, Andrew and Abbey Schneiderman; and Jack and Eve Berger.
The Melniks celebrated this milestone with a party with their family and friends.
