Cohn-Meagher Wedding

Emily Mara Cohn and Brendan Cormac Meagher were married Aug. 12, 2017 in Vinalhaven, Maine, where Kelly Richards officiated, and at a second ceremony Nov. 11, 2017 at Congregation Shaare Emeth, where Rabbi Jeffrey Stiffman and Cantor Seth Warner officiated. A reception followed at Moulin.
Emily is the daughter of Robert and Barbara Cohn of Clayton and the granddaughter of the late Dr. Ralph and Ruth Berg and the late Harold and Lillian Cohn. Brendan is the son of Brendan and Sophie Meagher of Germantown, N.Y., and the grandson of the late Peg and Cormac Meagher and the late Pauline and George Holm. Emily teaches middle school in Vinalhaven, and Brendan is a carpenter.
The bride’s sister, Julie Greene, served as matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Elisabeth Marsh and Lauren Abel, friends of the bride; Georgine Meagher, the groom’s sister; and Julie Bohm Cohn, the bride’s sister-in-law. The bride’s nieces, Ellie Cohn and Anna Greene, served as junior bridesmaids.
The groom’s brother-in-law, Doug Kroll, served as best man. The groomsmen were the bride’s brother, Scott Cohn, and the bride’s brother-in-law, Paul Greene.
Serving as ushers were Gillian and Emma Kroll, nieces of the groom, as well as Ben Greene and Adam and Jeremy Cohn, nephews of the bride.
Emily and Brendan took a wedding trip to Iceland, France and Sweden.
