Elizabeth Cohen, daughter of Howard and Debbi Cohen of Leawood, Kan. and Steven Levy, son of Richard and Kathryn Levy and the late Gina Rosenfield Levy of Dallas, Texas, have announced their engagement.

She is the granddaughter of Shirley and Jules Lucas of Creve Coeur, and Sharon and Don Cohen of Overland Park, Kan.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of the University of Kansas with a B.A. in human biology and a B.S. in nursing. She was a member of KU Hillel, and an Engagement Associate.

She is currently a Registered Nurse at the University of Kansas Hospital in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

Her fiancé is a graduate of the University of Kansas with a B.S. in journalism and mass communications. He is currently employed with Bernstein-Rein Advertising as assistant account executive on the McDonald’s team.

An April, 2011 wedding is planned in Kansas City, Mo.
