Jacob Ring, son of Ken and Teri Ring of Chesterfield, will have his bar mitzvah Oct. 29, 2011 at United Hebrew Congregation. He is a seventh grader at Crestview Middle School, is on the Student Council, and also plays the trumpet in the school band. He is also a member of the Boy Scouts, has a black belt in tae kwon do, and is almost a 2nd degree black belt. Jacob is the twin brother of Adam, age 13. Proud grandparents are Harriet and Larry Bretsnider of St. Louis and Bobbie and the late Fred Ring of St. Louis. Proud great-grandparent is Lenore Berger of St. Louis.
