David John Segall, son of Robyn and Keith Segall of Lohman, Mo. became a bar mitzvah October 5, 2013 at Congregation Beth Shalom in Columbia, Mo. He is a seventh grader at Thomas Jefferson Middle School in Jefferson City, Mo., where he participates in cross-country, wrestling, track and choir. Recently he became a Life Scout through Boy Scouts of America. He also attends Herzl Camp in Wisconsin. For his bar mitzvah service project, he volunteered at and raised $500 for the Jefferson City Samaritan Center and Mazon by doing various odd jobs around the neighborhood during the summer. He has a younger sister, Shannon, age 5. Proud grandparents are Vivian and Lawrence Waldman and Norman and the late Marcella Segall of Creve Coeur.
