Shayna Nobbe, the daughter of Chris and Michelle Nobbe of O’Fallon, Mo., will become a bat mitzvah this month at United Hebrew Congregation.

Shayna is a seventh-grade student at Fort Zumwalt North Middle. She plays softball and is on her middle school dance team. She is also a member of the National Junior Honor Society.

Shayna is the granddaughter of Ken Nobbe of Wood River, Ill., and Barbara Barbarash of Creve Coeur. She has one sibling, Gavin Nobbe, who is 9.
