Bat Mitzvah: Dahlia Goldstein-Larocco
Published June 9, 2022
Dahlia Goldstein-Larocco became a bat mitzvah May 14 at a private residence. Rabbi Brigitte Rosenberg of United Hebrew Congregation officiated.
Dahlia is the daughter of Traci Goldstein and Tyler Larocco of St. Louis. She is the granddaughter of Dolores Goldstein (z’’l), Harold Fishmam (z’’l), Alan Larocco (z’’l) and Martha Larocco of St. Louis.
A straight-A student in the sixth grade at Parkway Central Middle School, Dahlia plays hockey and soccer, and she swims. Dahlia likes to spend her free time with family and friends, being on the ice and exploring the outdoors.
Dahlia’s mitzvah project supports the Dead Sea Revival Project, which seeks to address the shortage of water in the Middle East by working with experts throughout the Middle East as a result of the Abraham Accords. Dahlia hopes this collaboration will not only help address the water crisis in the world but also bring much needed peace to the Middle East via water diplomacy.
