John R. Green wrote two books during the pandemic to help each of his twins deal with their bedtime fears. In “Dream Grabber,” written for his son AJ, a little boy learns to overcome his fear of going to sleep when his father shares his secret ability to grab bad dreams and replace them with beautiful ones that float in the air. For his daughter Francesca, who was having trouble going to sleep because she scared of being alone, Green wrote “Dream Jumper,” about a girl whose father has magical powers that allow him to jump into her dreams when they are both asleep.
