Danny Jacobs and Darren Grodsky aren’t done with St. Louis just yet. Fresh off their packed live recording at STL Style House, the creative duo behind the hit podcast “How to Destroy Everything” are sticking around town for one more can’t-miss conversation.
Jacobs and Grodsky will be the featured guests on the next edition of National Council of Jewish Women-St. Louis’s Coffee Talk, a virtual discussion series bringing notable voices to the St. Louis Jewish community. The event takes place Feb. 25 from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. on Zoom.
For those who missed the live event—or just want more insight into the deeply personal and widely resonant podcast—this is the chance to hear directly from the co-creators. “How to Destroy Everything” dives into the life of Jacobs’ father, Richard Jacobs, whose larger-than-life personality left behind a trail of chaos. The podcast’s mix of raw storytelling and investigative depth has captivated audiences worldwide.
“We never set out to make something that would help people process their own experiences,” Jacobs said during their St. Louis appearance. “But that’s what seems to have happened.”
During Coffee Talk, expect an unfiltered look at the making of “How to Destroy Everything,” how the show evolved from an experiment to a hit, and why St. Louis still plays a role in their story.
Registration is required for the event. For more information and to sign up, visit NCJWSTL’s website.
