CRC needs your help collecting bottled water for Jackson, Ms. synagogue

Central Reform Congregation is partnering with community members Umar Lee and Robin McDowell to deliver much-needed clean drinking water to Beth Israel Congregation in Jackson, Mississippi to distribute and provide relief to their community.
What can you do?
“We’re asking YOU to donate bottled water to fill a truck leaving St. Louis Saturday, September 10,” wrote CRC on its Facebook page.
Bottled water can be dropped off at CRC during the following times:
- Wednesday, September 7, 12:00 pm-6:00 pm
- Thursday, September 8, 10:00 am-5:30 pm
- Friday, September 9, 10:00 am-7:00 pm
- Saturday, September 10, 9:00 am-12:30 pm
“We ask that you are able to transport water donated from your car to CRC’s front door, as staff may not consistently be available to assist in unloading,” wrote CRC.

- Volunteers are needed to load the truck Saturday in the CRC parking lot on September 10, 12:30 pm. Sign up here to lend a hand.
- To contribute funds to sponsor gas needed for this trip. Any excess funds will be used to purchase additional water or provide aid directly to those impacted in Mississippi.
