PJ Library and Saul Mirowitz Jewish Community School have organized a drive-through social action event for families looking for something meaningful to do with their young children on Martin Luther King Jr. Day Monday, Jan. 17. During the 30-minute drive through, parents and their children will remain in their cars and participate in activities that feed the hungry, care for the earth and pursue justice.

The event will take place in the parking lot of Mirowitz, 348 S. Mason Road with start times staggered between 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. Participating families will drive through six stations, each with an activity or craft, conversation starters and opportunities for meaningful social action. Participants will go home with a tikkun olam (repair the world) toolkit and a book from PJ Library.

The event is free, but space is limited. Families are asked to wear masks and can RSVP and sign up for a time slot by visiting www.mirowitz.org/mlk
