I want to thank all of the members of your staff who made last night’s Unsung Heroes presentation so memorable. I went to honor my friend Cathy Lander-Goldberg, but I also was inspired by the great community service of every Unsung Hero.
Anyone who has lost faith in human goodness would have been reinspired by attending this ceremony! The honorees’ contributions were diverse and touching; some honorees were not Jewish, but all committed their efforts to the St. Louis area and beyond.
Each attendee was given a magazine, highlighting the work of the honorees. I can’t wait to read every page. Big thanks to the Jewish Light for this significant effort and achievement.
