Letters to the editor: Criticism of Beck may be overblown
Published December 1, 2010
I do not think the “Glen Beck affair” concerning his remarks about George Soros deserves so much criticism.
I find it quite painful that Mr. Soros is so seemingly anti-Israel; perhaps he does, in fact, hint at anti-Semitism against his own people as Glen Beck stated.
I realize fully that not all Jews agree on anything. So be it. However, to literally blast his own religious ideals is absolutely the worst kind of verbal abuse against Judaism itself.
I think the critics should re-evaluate Beck’s comments and show more agreement of such misunderstood statements.
