Beloved husband of Ethel S. Newman, the late Eileen Newman and the late Dorothy Newman; dear father of the late Susan Brown (Ronald), Marilyn Schafer (Hank Sexauer) and Janet Davis (Dr. David); dear grandfather of Jason Brown, Jill Gumpenberger (Tim), Dori Schafer (Kristian Hedstrom) and Anna and Dylan Davis; dear great-grandfather of Mia, Andrew, Alyssa, Liam and Avery; dear brother of the late Frieda (the late Sam) Goldenhersh and the late Leo (the late Ethel) Newman. Victor also is survived by Ethel’s children; Sherry Salant (Gary) and Robin Dubois (Pierre-Yves), grandchildren; Lauren Abbott( Nick), Lindsey Clements (Keith), Shayna Dubois and Joshua Dubois; Our dear uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend to many. 

Graveside service Sunday, February 16, 2020 at 10 a.m. at Chesed Shel Emeth Cemetery, 650 White Road. Memorial contributions preferred to The ALS Association, PO Box 37022, Boone, IA 50037-0022.
