Vera F. Cohen, March 11, 1931 – October 5, 2021

Beloved wife of the late Frederic Cohen. Dear mother of Norman (Sara) Cohen, Scott (Nikki) Cohen and Jay (Patty) Cohen. Loving grandmother of David (Alexis) Cohen, Jonathan (Nicole) Cohen, Brian and Bradley Cohen. Dear great-grandmother of Elyas, Scarlett, Tate and Margot Cohen. Beloved sister and sister-in-law of Sibby and the late Melvin Cosner of Kansas City, KS and the late Sue and Frederick Fruhauf of Wichita, KS. Dear aunt of the late Alan Cosner, Nancy (Rich) Kohn, Gail (Mark) Tucker, Beth Cosner, Karen Rozen, Kenneth (Pam) Fruhauf, Richard (Julie) Fruhauf, Kerry Cosner, Michael Block and Stuart Cohen.

Vera was a devoted mother, focused on family, her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and always looked forward to enjoying the togetherness of the holidays.  Aside from her dedication to her family, Vera accompanied her husband Fred on extensive world travels for both business and pleasure.  Vera had an extensive career in the family’s business interests, including retailing, importing and real estate development.

Funeral service Friday, October 8, 2021, 10:00 a.m. at Temple Israel, 1 Rabbi Alvan D. Rubin Drive (Ladue and Spoede Roads) with interment to follow at Beth Hamedrosh Hagodol Cemetery, 9125 Ladue Road. Visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m. until time of service.
