Dear wife of the late Dan Tozer; beloved mother of Debi Tozer Lin (Mikhail), Shana Tozer (Anthony DeCicco) and Angie Tozer (Obie Peeples); loving grandmother of Nelli Peeples; dear daughter of Genevieve and the late Irv Rondberg; dear sister of Ruth Gerchen (David) and Marilyn Elkin (Phil); loving companion of Jerry Gusdorf; dear aunt, cousin, and friend to so many.

Suzi was a teacher, storyteller, and the life of the party. Her positive energy radiated through her big smile that she shared with everyone she met. She believed that life should be celebrated and brought this mindset to fruition as a party and event planner and extraordinary host. Born and raised in St. Louis, she attended Pattonville and Parkway North and graduated from UMSL with a degree in education. She spent many years as a Sunday School teacher at United Hebrew and had a deep love for tutoring kids with dyslexia. Her work as an educator extended far beyond the classroom. She shared her cancer journey with an expansive network modeling a message for everyone to live their lives in gratitude even when things are tough. She was a source of light, joy, happiness, and hope to countless friends, family, and community members.

There was nothing that brought her more joy than her family. She lived for Thursday morning breakfasts with her mom, sisters, nieces, nephews, and cousins, Saturday night dates with Jerry, and watching her granddaughter Nelli every Tuesday. She would sit with her daughters, and they would laugh until they cried. She would always note that it was her family that allowed her to fight this long.
