Stanwood Robert Portnoy, died May 8, 2011 in Decatur, Georgia. Formerly of St. Louis, he was the beloved husband for 64 years of Dorothy Demba Portnoy; dear father of Barbara (Worth Barron) Portnoy-Barron, Dr. Jeffrey (Mary Middlemas) Portnoy and Kathy (the late Bruce Callner) Portnoy; loving grandfather of Samantha Callner Portnoy; dear brother of Cynthia (Harvey) Frohlichstein and the late Shilah (Irv) Eisenberg; our dear brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend. He was a World War II veteran, who was injured in the Battle of the Bulge. Contributions to the Bruce W.
