Sidney Davidson Freund, December 18, 1911 – May 7, 2016

Beloved husband of the late Kathleen “Kay” Presberg Freund; dear father and father-in-law of Louis E. (Alice) Freund of Sunnyvale, CA and Richard D. Freund (Jo Ann Mazzarella) of Eugene, OR; loving grandfather of Jason (Yun), Benjamin (Dera), Sarah (Robert) Recinos, Kathryn Freund (Chad Naso), and Rebecca Freund; dear great-grandfather of June, Bernard and Cecily; dear brother of the late Fred (late Dorothy) Freund and the late Henrietta Roth; dear uncle of Donald F. Roth; and also uncle, cousin, relative and good friend to many.

Mr. Freund was a graduate of Clayton High School, a resident of Clayton and Olivette, and was a long time employee of Biederman’s Furniture Company and American Loose Leaf Binder.  He and Kay were Lifetime Members of Temple Israel.
