Sheldon David Grand, died August 10, 2013 at age 80 at home in Cumming, Ga.  He was formerly of St. Louis, and the son of Wolfe E. Grand and Lillian Grand.  Shel graduated from Washington University in St. Louis, both Undergraduate, and Law School, practiced law for 40+ years, had a passion for all things mechanical,
 St. Louis sports teams, impressionist art, photography, and family. He was a true inspiration to all who knew him. Shel is survived by his beloved wife, Carolyn Grand of Cumming, Ga.; children, Steve and Susan (Ayasse) Grand of Berkeley, Calif. and Jerry and Ellen (McDonald) Grand of Cumming, GA; grandchildren, Hannah Grand, Shannon Grand, Darcy Grand and Henry Grand; siblings Mitchell (the late Lois) Grand, Norman (Ollie) Grand, Carolyn Wolff and Ida (the late Bud) Steinberg, and many other friends and family. A memorial service and reception will be held at 10:30 am on Sunday, September 1, 2013 at Alumni house, Washington University, 6510 Wallace Dr. 63105.
