Selma Lee Perlmutter

Selma Lee Perlmutter, died October 8, 2010 at the age of 71 at Seasons Hospice in Weiss Hospital in Chicago. Formerly of Belleville, she was the beloved daughter of the late Irving and Rose Perlmutter of Belleville; loving sister of Leslie Perlmutter of Olivette and Ethel Harris of Scottsdale, Az.; sister-in-law of Edyce Perlmutter of Olivette; cherished aunt of Neal Perlmutter of Kirkland, Wash., Ed Perlmutter of Boston, Mass., Jason Harris of Barcelona, Spain, and Eric Harris of Phoenix, Az.; devoted great-aunt to David and Daniel Perlmutter of Kirkland, Wash. and Max Borg of Cambridge, Mass.; dear friend to many. Perlmutter was a retired French teacher of 38 years from Niles North High School in Skokie, Ill and was a Life Master Bridge Player. She also volunteered at The Ark and was the former chair of the Docent Program for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Contributions to the Harvey Kornblum Jewish Food Pantry, 10950 Schuetz
