Selma Kuhn Goldstein

Selma Kuhn Goldstein, died peacefully at the age of 97 October 22, 2014 in Wilmette, Ill. She was the beloved wife for nearly 50 years of the late Carl L. Goldstein; proud mother of Laine (Milton) Goldenberg, Bobby (Jerry) Kranitz of Delray Beach, Fl., Joan Goldstein of Chicago and Patty (Rabbi Steven) Mason of Highland Park, Ill.; special grandmother of Lori (Geoff) Thomas, Mark (Brenda) Goldenberg, Steven (Kim) Goldenberg, Jason (Sarah) Kranitz, Stacy Kranitz, Michael (Rabbi Erin) Mason, Rabbi Sara (Josh) Mason-Barkin and Danny Mason; dear GG of 15 special great-grandchildren; daughter of the late Theresa and the late Lee Kuhn; sister of the late Miriam Kuhn Weinstein and the late Lois Kuhn Fox; sister-in-law of Gilbert Fox, Jr. and Helen Lanznar; aunt to many nieces and nephews. Born August 16, 1917, in Columbia, Tenn., Mrs. Goldstein resided in Nashville and Boca Raton. Hers was a life of service and philanthropy and she enjoyed gardening, playing golf and tennis into her later years and traveling the world. Her greatest love was her family of which she was the center and the rock.
